Mosaic in the Herdify Portal

In the Herdify portal, you can see your brand's most dominant and over-indexed Mosaic Group and Type. You can see this across three segmentations:

  1. Herdify areas
  2. Non-Herdify areas
  3. Overall

These are available in the Herdify Audience Report.

You can also see a list of over-indexed Mosaic Groups and Types in Herdify areas, alongside the proportion of your customers who belong to each group, and the index compared to national averages. To read more, visit Herdify Demographics.

Using Herdify and Mosaic 8 in your targeting

Using the Herdify portal you can see:

  1. Where your communities are located
  2. The sort of person who lives in your communities
  3. How those living in communities differ from people living outside of communities

  1. Choose your locations: Use Herdify's targeting files to select locations to send your campaign
  2. Craft your messaging: Use Mosaic 8 insights to design your campaigns using messages that will resonate with people living in communities

What is Mosaic 8?

Mosaic 8 is Experian's latest customer segmentation model. It groups individuals who share similar demographics, lifestyles, and behaviours into 18 summary Groups, which are then broken down into 68 detailed Types.

Each Group and Type has a unique code and name (e.g. 'A - Lavish Lifestyles'), along with a description of the type of person who typically falls into this category.
