Data Transfer

To use Herdify we need access to some data from your transaction history.

The most popular way to share that with us is to upload it through the portal, following the instructions here.

Requirements

The system requires 6 fields from your transaction history.

For every transaction, we need:

  • Transaction ID – A unique identifier for each purchase.
  • Customer identifier – A unique identifier for each customer, for example a customer number.
  • Purchase date – The date of the purchase. The data should include all sales for a customer, not just their first/last.
  • Billing postcode – The postcode for the billing address.
  • Purchase value – The total value of the purchase.
  • Purchase currency - A 3 digit code for currency the purchase was made in e.g. GBP for pounds sterling.

We need at least two years of data to run automated community detection. If you have less than this, please email support@herdify.com so we can advise further.
